Walter Shillington Since then, a series of ever-evolving improvements have resulted in headphones and earbuds that utilize Bluetooth technology, provide increased sound quality, offer automatic noise cancellation, and boast excellent battery life. They have become smaller, incorporated TWS technology, and almost always come packed within a charging box equipped with its own internal battery. Despite these advances, I seldom wear earbuds. They always feel like they are about to pop from my ears and fall to the floor. Some brands fit better than others, but for sure, I would never wear a pair of earbuds on my morning run. Today I am testing out the new MoveBuds H1 from Tribit. I have high hopes for this set, primarily due to my pleasurable experiences reviewing Tribit’s series of Bluetooth speakers. Hopefully, their design team did not let me down.
Description
My new MoveBuds H1 came snuggled inside a black plastic charging case. This 3.3-ounce box is 1.34 inches high, 3.5 inches wide, and 2.56 inches deep. Four LEDs positioned just below the case’s clamshell-style lid indicate the state of the battery and charging status. A back-mounted USB-C port is used for charging the case’s internal battery. The earbuds are 1.22 inches thick. 2.13 inches high, 1.6 inches deep, and weigh 11 grams. Their integrated, flexible ear hooks account for their larger-than-average size. A capacitive touchpad performs operations such as volume control, song switching, and answering the phone. While these devices are designed to hang from your ears, six pairs of differently sized ear tips ensure a proper fit within the ear canal. These TWS earbuds are Bluetooth-capable and enjoy a battery life of up to 15 hours. The associated case can recharge the set, allowing up to an additional 50 hours of use. The Tribit application may be utilized to check battery life, control volume, and select the proper equalization for the music genre. The complete package includes a set of earbuds, six pairs of ear tips, a case, a charging cable, and a user guide.

Bluetooth
The Tribit MoveBuds H1 earbuds are Bluetooth 5.2 capable and compatible with earlier versions. This device paired quickly with my smartphone. These earbuds are equipped with microphones, allowing calls to be made over a connected cellphone. This version of Bluetooth provides a transmission range of about 33 feet. I was able to wander throughout my house without a loss of reception. As I moved into the front porch, the four walls between me and my phone obstructed the signal and reception became intermittent. Once I was outside, circling the house, the signal improved. I paired the earbuds to my projector and watched a movie on Netflix. The resulting sound was good, and the volume could be raised or lowered using the projector’s remote.
Transparency Mode
This mode refers to the use of external microphones within the earbuds, allowing the listener to hear surrounding sounds that would typically be muffled, along with the music being played. Walter Shillington Walter Shillington
The Tribit Application
This handy application displays battery power, allows modification of the earbud’s touchpad controls, provides optional EQ settings, adjusts volume, and can be used to choose between normal and transparency modes.
Sound Quality
Bass and treble reproduction proved excellent, and I could easily differentiate between the distinct sounds of a variety of instruments. The application includes a selection of pre-set EQ levels intended for use with specific genres of music.
Battery Life
According to the manufacturer, a fully charged earbud will function for up to 15 hours. When used with the storage box charger, battery life can be extended to as long as 65 hours. This represents outstanding battery life. These earbuds can be charged entirely within 1.5 hours. The box requires two hours to recharge.
Overall Impression
They fit comfortably and reproduce music in a bright and lively fashion. The battery life is outstanding, and the application’s EQ settings are helpful. The flexible ear hooks hold the earbuds firmly in place, even when I am running, and this device can be worn for hours without discomfort. The Tribit MoveBuds H1 wireless earbuds are recommended.
